This approach ensures a strong motivation in our work. It also provides meaning and an incentive to meet the targets we set.
Environmental Policy
Today, a global concern is confronting a diverse array of environment issues of growing severity, including weather anomalies, global warming and impacts on human health. Consequently, companies are now expected to consider the environment in their business.
The products of Xerom are used in Japan and around the world, playing an essential role in the electronics industry. We also understand the importance of our activities to protect the environment. On April 1, 2005, Xerom obtained ISO 14001 certification. Our management and efforts surpass the level required by environmental laws and regulations.
Based on its environmental policy, Xerom will work with its subcontractors and suppliers to harmonize the basic principles and standards for environmental actions and to integrate information about these actions so that it can develop a sound and eco-friendly business.
Xerom will also implement green procurement in compliance with the guidelines set by the Japan Green Procurement Survey Standardization Initiative (JGPSSI).

- We will act to control CO2 emissions and address other global environmental issues.
- We will take steps to prevent pollution caused by production activities and minimize the adverse impacts of chemical substances on the environment and on human health.

The Company is aware of the importance of the environment in its business activities, which are centered on ultra-precision pressing, and is committed to conservation activities.
2)Action Agenda
- Work on continuous improvement after identifying the environmental impact and setting targets.
- Take steps to reduce power consumption, waste and resource consumption in an effort to prevent pollution.
- Comply with laws, regulations and other requirements.
- Review targets on a regular basis.
- Make the Company’s environmental policy public.

Xerom executes non-disclosure agreements with customers whenever necessary, to protect the relationships it has built with them from the development phase. To facilitate future activities, the CSR Committee is now developing a standard that conforms to laws and ordinances.
In addition, Xerom has embarked on activities with a view to acquiring ISO 27001 certification.

Xerom operates based on a vision for the future of our planet and society, and with a commitment to corporate social responsibility.
To combine sustainable growth with profitability, Xerom’s personnel will work together to exhaustively carry out the medium-term five-year plan for building up the Company’s strength and executing structural reforms in underperforming businesses.
We will focus our full energy on improving our organizational and business capabilities and on creating value. Seeing into the future, we will take quick action in response to the changing circumstances.
We understand that Xerom’s CSR is to take responsible action for a promising future in addition to the swift response to rapidly changing social circumstances and prevailing trends.
Starting this fiscal year onwards, Xerom has adopted CSR as one of the major pillars of its management policy. According to our CSR action policy in this inaugural year, we will endeavor to ensure that our CSR activities take root in every single employee’s day-to-day activities, based on the Xerom Values.
